Philippines' President Rodrigo Duterte threatened to declare war on Canada if they won't take back 69 containers filled to the brim with Canada's waste that included slimy diapers and filthy kitchen waste.

According to Global News, Chronic Inc, a Canadian waste corporation based in Ontario, shipped 69 containers filled with 1500 tonnes of grimy and feculent waste to Philippines' port between 2013 and 2014.

President Duterte had issued warning and orders to Canada to send cargo ships to pick up their garbage that he says was sent illegally to Manila.

He had even threatened to "declare war" on Canada last month if Vancouver did not respond in action and haste to remove garbage from Manila.

Canada has just sent a cargo ship that docked sometime last week ready to ship back 69 containers of solid dump. What they plan to do with the garbage is still not known. It is also not clear why Canada would ship trash to Manila by 'mistake'.

So far, all the containers have been fumigated as per the requirements of Canada Environmental Protection Agency and Toxic Management Organization.

It seems that Canada dumps its garbage wherever they want since this is not the first time Canada had shipped its garbage elsewhere. Malaysia too is shipping back tonnes of Canadian filth!
